Pet care experience
I've trained and loved all kids of dogs for 2 decades. I have a calming unspoken connection with even the most shy or aggressive pups. I'm able to train anything from house training to obedience and tricks. We have a 4 mile dog-friendly walking trail nearby and a large yard for immediate potty breaks or zoomie fixes. We have a large living room for playing and a lot of couch space for cuddles! My partner and I are the only ones in the house and we both work from home so there is lots of love to go around all day long. We can't have animals now because we and I plan to travel - so I have so much love and time to share with yours!

Melody and her boyfriend were awesome! We are always nervous leaving our dog with a sitter when we travel, but we felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Melody. Our dog fell in love with her! Melody gave our dog lots of love and attention! She was easy to communicate with and she sent lots of pictures and videos through out our dogs stay. We would absolutely send our dog to Melody’s in the future! 10/10 would recommend!
I felt good about leaving my dog, Fjord, with Melody at her house with her boyfriend. He seemed to love her right away as soon as I dropped him off. She provided with me cute photos updates and answered all of my questions before and during his stay. Thank you!!

Melody saved our day! We needed someone to watch our two dogs (one whose a puppy and the other with anxiety) very last minute and melody stepped right in. She and her SO were so pleasant from beginning to end. My dogs ran right into her home and quickly became comfortable. She sent pictures and updates regularly during their stay and was very quick to reply to all messages. There is no doubt that we will be using melody again in the future because I know when my dogs are with her, they’re receiving attention, care and love. I cannot recommend melody enough!

My yard is set far away from the road and there are no other pets around. I don't have any animals (sad!) or kids, so if your pet prefers quiet this is the place for them! Your pet can expect 2 walks and 3 potty breaks per day. If you would like me to teach them to sit, lay down, shake or roll I gladly will!

I am accepting multiple dogs at once so if your dog would rather be an only child, please let me know and we can arrange for that. Please let me know if your dog is okay to be around other dogs while on walks and/or if there are other dogs in the house. Also please let me know if your dog has any health issues, potty training issues, allergies, sensitive areas they don't like to be touched (ears, tail, belly, etc.) or any other unique things relating to how your dog is used to being cared for.
A typical day
I have a big yard and a lead so your pup and I can play fetch and get the zoomies out. I have a spare room just for your pet to stay comfortably. I like to take the pups on 2 30+minute walks per day at the dog-friendly walking trail 2 minutes from my house. I can successfully avoid other dogs if your dog or other dogs on our walk shows signs of aggression. I also have a big couch for cuddles and love to train, pet and hang out with your doggo most of the day in-between my virtual clients!

I work from home and have tons of time for play and attention. I frequently hike and walk and would love to bring a pup along with me. I have years of experience training dogs and safely socializing them. My partner is always home too so when I go out to yoga or grocery store your pet is never alone. We have no other animals so your pet is the center of our attention!
