Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life with dogs of every breed imaginable. I grew up on a farm taking care of many animals, and I now have a 4 year old rescue lab mix, Luci, along with a 6 year old Shiba inu. I am a PE teacher, with 4 grown children, so my animals are now my children! With summers off from teaching, I am looking to fill my time offering loving care for your dog. My dogs, (and cat) are extremely friendly and love the company of other dogs. I am very active and would welcome the opportunity to walk or run your dog too. I can promise your dog will be pampered and well treated in my home!

Thanks Melody! This was Ginger's first stay away from home other than staying with my parents. Melody went above and beyond to make her stay comfortable and fun. Not once was i concerned. She had a great time at Melody's and I even think she's missing it there :(
I highly recommend Melody. I have used Melody many times to walk and board my Frenchie Lola and always does an amazing job. She took the time to get know me and Lola at a meet-and-greet and she was very responsive with any question or concern I had before leaving Lola in her care. She takes great care of Lola and sends many updates throughout Lola's stays. Lola has so much fun at Melody's whenever she stays over, she doesn't want to come home! I would not hesitate to recommend Melody to others who are looking for dog walking, boarding, or other pet services.
She worked well with my dog. My dog is typically very energetic and creative, very difficult for her to socialize with other dogs. She was able to assist her in socializing with the other dogs in the house. By the end of the week I was able to walk my dogs without having the incessant barking at passing dogs. Whatever she did for my dog, she is a miracle worker. we are currently working on training the dog to sit ans stay and seems to be reinforced during her sessions.
