Hello! I'm Melodie, an animal lover and a vet tech with over 20 years' experience caring for pretty much every type of critter. I’ve worked at a zoo, a wildlife refuge and a feline specialty vet clinic, and I’ve never met an animal I didn’t LOVE! I specialize in sitting cats and exotic pets because I’ve taken care of so many of them throughout my career. I adore cats and am also a big fan of little critters like rats, rabbits, bearded dragons, tortoises and cockatoos. I can visit one, two or more times in a day if you’re out of town. I will also bring in the mail and water your indoor plants if you like. Even if you’re not leaving town, I’m also happy to drop in mid-day to help care for your pet while you’re at work. As your cat and exotic sitter, I will scoop the cat box, check the humidity in the gecko's tank, play with the ferrets and give the parrot new toys to tear up! I'm comfortable preparing special diets and giving medication either orally or via injection. I can give insulin and subcutaneous fluids to your pet as well!
