Hello and welcomed! I’m super excited about Rover and can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! A little about myself- I’m Mellissa but you can call me Missy! I’m a 31 year animal enthusiast and a mother to beautiful human children and care giver to many stray kitties. I have always been very passionate about the well being of all animals and I truly believe they are more than pets, they are family and should be treated as such. Although I do have years of experience with pet sitting and care I am also studying for a few different certifications to further my knowledge and to better assist you and your furry friends needs. Those certifications are Pet Psychology, Pet Sitting, Dog Grooming, Pet Nutrition and Pet First Aid. Why should you hire me? -Your animals will be treated like family! -My love for animals and their well-being is always top priority. -Years of experience to ensure you have the best sitter/walker. -Experience with not only cats and dogs but also reptiles and some farm animals. -Flexible schedule. -We can always discuss pricing! Mellissa was amazing to work with when she watched our new puppy for us as we headed to the beach. She kept us in the loop with how our puppy was doing and sent pictures and updates daily. I highly recommend her and will use her again in the future!
Mellissa was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure our two cats had plenty of food, water, and snuggles, and sent us regular updates and photos. It gave us such incredible peace of mind to know that she was caring for our kitties while we were out of the country and so far away from them. She is a delightful person to do business with and we will unquestionably be contacting her for any future trips we take.
Absolutely wonderful! My dog has a lot separation anxiety issues and he was so happy there! She took great care of him and kept me posted with photos. When I picked him up he was very happy and not at all distressed which happens sometimes when he goes to daycare. I would definitely recommend her and rebook! Excellent care!
Mellissa is the most compassionate animal lover I have ever met. She puts animals, their comfort, well being, and happiness high on her priority list. She is very, very patient, gentle and kind with animals and truly loves every single dog she meets!! She is one to put 110% into any task involving dogs and their care. I trust her like no other with my dog, and feel completely confident that he is in the best of care when he is with her. I highly recommend Mellissa, you will not be disappointed!
