Hi, we are Melissa & Zac! We are a friendly couple with a 4 year old Border Collie mix named Harley who makes friends with every dog she meets. We have a comfortable, pet-friendly home with a large yard on a quiet, dead end street. We are within walking distance of wooded hiking trails like Trout Brook Reservation and Nick's Woods. Let us roll out the red carpet for your pup! We know you think of your dog as family, and we want to do all we can to put your mind at ease when your dog is with us. If that means you would like to schedule a call with one of us or an in person meeting to see if your dog gets along with Harley, we would be happy to accomodate you. We would love to host your pet for walks or over night boarding. In addition, we are experienced dog walkers having owned our own pet care company for 2 years. Hope to hear from you soon!

100% recommend! They were so honest and truly helpful with my dog Dexter. They are willing to work with him and care for him. He came home so tired but so happy after a day of daycare, he slept 2.5 hours! So happy I found them!
Melissa and Zac were great! Marlowe spent the day with them, had a great time and came home exhausted. Melissa sent me photos and status updates throughout the day, and it's clear from the images (and her demeanor when I picked her up) that she was comfortable and happy. I would absolutely leave my pet in their care again, and would recommend them to others.

We care for your pets in the same way we hope someone would care for ours. Harley is our child and we will take care of your dog like it is your baby. We believe consistency is key and like to enforce the rules that you dog follows are your home. Are they not allowed on the furniture? Then they won't be allowed with us. At our meet and greets we will discuss all of this with to make sure your pup doesnt pick up any bad habits after their time with us.

A typical day
Typical day involves a morning where all the dogs we're hosting play in our house which gives them a chance to get to know each other while being fully supervised. Then around noon we go for a hike in the woods either by our house or we get in the car and drive to a state park or hiking trail. We get home mid-afternoon and the dogs have a snack and take a nap. Around 4 or 5pm they wake up and we go outside for one more potty break and some playtime.

Availability
We do not accept dogs for boarding that have not previously done a walk or daycare with us in the past. The reason for this is we want the opportunity to learn more about your dog in a 1:1 setting and give your dog a chance to get comfortable with us without their owners present (especially if you need boarding for multiple days) . Doing this allows us to provide the best possible care for your dog.
