My husband and I recently lost our 9 year old great dane. He was a huge part of our family but were not ready for a new dog yet. We would like to get some love from furry friends and help others out at the same time. I'm open to walks, dog sitting in our home or yours, or any other needs your pet has. Our yard is not fenced but we can go for frequent walks (and out for potty breaks on leash). We have a great neighborhood for walking. I'm a nurse and not easily overwhelmed if your dog has special needs or meds. My husband and I work together to make sure dogs get frequent potty breaks on days neither of us are able to work from home. We do not have any kids.

As always Melissa and her husband were fantastic. They normally watch our lab mix but we added a very energetic puppy to the mix. They were great about handling the extra energy and loving on both of our dogs. We cannot thank them enough for making it easy to leave our dogs with them!!
Melissa and Jarrod were great! They have a lovely house and could tell they are great with dogs. Sampson took to them as soon as we arrived. Great communication too. Will definitely plan to book with Melissa in the future!
Tesla liked Melissa and Jarrod from the very first meeting. Definitely dog people. Tesla can always tell. :) Because our nervous pup has some quirks Jarrod and Melissa were very understanding. Tesla doesn’t give bellies to everyone so I knew she felt comfortable at their house right from the start when I got a belly up picture the first full day. Thank you!

Owners will need to bring a crate if they are normally crated. We do not have a fenced yard so being on a leash is required for exercise and potty breaks. Dogs that stay with us need to be used to being on a leash and know how to walk on a leash.

We have plenty of dog toys and bones. Dogs can run several miles a day in the morning and go for an additional walk in the afternoon.

Availability
My husband and I both have flexibility to work from home. On days we are both required to be at work, dogs get up early and get exercise with me before I leave for the day. They get a potty break before my husband leaves for work several hours later. He comes home at lunch to give another potty break. I'm home from work in the early afternoon and take them out for a walk.
