I’ve had the privilege of working with all types of animals for the last 7 years in a variety of capacities. I began my animal care journey as a kennel attendant and learned first-hand that every animal is vastly different – each with their own quirks, unique personalities, and needs. It was in this setting that I first began to delve into on the job behavioral training, and began to develop and hone my passion for understanding what each animal under my care needed to feel safe, comfortable, and balanced in a foreign environment. I then moved into the veterinary field, where I worked in both primary and emergency care. I’ve also volunteered with various LA-based bully breed rescues, which has offered me the unique opportunity to advocate for these amazing dogs and educate the public, as well as work with some of the best behavioral trainers LA has to offer. I am comfortable working with dogs with a variety of special needs, from dogs that don’t do well with other dogs to dogs who are nervous around new people or new environments. I believe you know your dog best, and I am happy to follow any special requests or routines you may have. I take pride great in tailoring my approach to each dog’s personality and often have people with skittish dogs comment that their dog will not go up to anyone else. I am also comfortable and experienced with all bully breeds, as I have worked with various trainers through rescue groups, as well as with my own American Staffordshire Terrier rescue Raza. I am comfortable administering any medications your dog may need. I am also experienced with a variety of exotic pets, including reptiles and birds. And my partner is a Veterinarian should any problems arise. I am currently home full time so feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns! I myself am an over-protective dog mom, and I know how nerve-wracking it can be leaving your beloved companion with someone else. I love taking pictures of dogs, and am happy to send you pictures and updates while you are away, to help alleviate any anxiety about how your best friend is doing.
