I am a stay-at-home mom who has always loved dogs. I always had dogs while growing up and we've had dogs for the greater portion of our marriage. While I do love all dogs, I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs with eyebrows (as evidenced by the pictures of our dog, Belle.) Your dog would get a lot of attention! We have three girls who all love animals and have spent their whole lives around dogs and cats. They are very excited at the prospect of welcoming more dogs into our home. We have a 1/2 acre fenced backyard. Even though we are located in the quiet countryside, we are within close proximity to both a dog park and some of Delaware County's Preservation Parks for great dog-walking. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my entire life. I had dreams of opening my own shelter. We had lots of dogs growing up. We had German Shepherds, a Husky mix, and a Doberman. After we were married we had a Shih Tzu that lived until she was 18, a Shepherd/Sheltie mix that lived until she was 15, and our current dog is a Shiba Inu mix that was a rescue dog. Meet my pets We have two cats who are used to being around dogs. Please let me know if your dog is good with cats. About my yard We live on over an acre with half of it fenced in for running around. The ground is flat with wide open spaces. My experience administering medication I can administer medication orally. If there is a particular trick that works with your animal to help in taking the medication, please let me know.
