Hi! My name is Melissa and I am here because like you, I am a dog lover! I grew up around dogs and to me, dogs are more than just pets, they are FAMILY. You can expect me to love and treat your dog like it's my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. My last dog was blind and diabetic, so I have a special place in my heart for those pups with special needs as well. I am a very active person and will spoil your dog with walks, hikes, car rides, trips to the dog park, and even runs if your dog is a runner! I love playing toys, fetch, and snuggling on the couch. I am also great at petting and give great belly and chin rubs! When you trust me with your dog, their happiness and quality of life is my #1 priority. I also consider myself an expert dog photographer, so you can expect pictures of your fur baby while you are away! I work full-time as a teacher, so my availability is mostly evenings, weekends, and school breaks. I am happy to dog-sit at your place if your dog prefers a familiar environment. I am very clean and will leave your place better than I found it! I am also willing to have your dog stay with me. I live in an apartment complex next to the Kent Trail system which is close to many parks and even has its own dog park! Other services I can provide are dog walking and drop-in visits to give your dog a potty break and some extra love.
