Pet care experience
Be it a single cat or dog, or multiple friends I can definitely be of service! I grew up taking care of a small-medium sized dog, pet sit for friends who have cats and regularly help my siblings with their own cats. I’ve helped a good amount of owners on Rover since November of 2022, and made wonderful connections with many pets! I care a lot about giving and receiving clear communication and am very respectful of all our different walks of life especially as a non-binary person❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🩵🩷🤍 (They/them)

Melissa has come to do a last minute dog walk and house sitting over the holidays when we were out of town. They treated our pup like their own as well as our house. We received daily pics and videos which made being away from our baby boy a little bit easier knowing he was in good hands. I highly recommend Melissa and we’ll be using them again!
We have used Melissa a couple of times now when we have gone away for long trips & she is always amazing! I can say so many great things but one thing is that she makes me feel that my furbaby is safe so that I can actually enjoy my trips! Thank you as always!

Please let me know if your pet has separation anxiety, is in need of any medication, or has any allergies of any sort plus if they are up to date on their vaccinations! Also if they tend to get up to shenanigans haha!
A typical day
We will typically enjoy a good walk, however long your pet(s) is used to, with plenty of exploration of the nearby areas to their heart’s desire! We might lay on the couch together to watch a movie, throw ball in the backyard, whatever is apart of their usual routine I’ll try to maintain that for you!

I’m currently balancing pet sitting with my other business as a Stained Glass Artist! I aim to alternate every month and a half to two months with working from my home studio for a month. I can easily create digital patterns for my other business while pet sitting, or continue writing one of my many self/reflective journal ideas at your home.
