Pet care experience
We live in a duplex house in North Land Park. Our 5 year old dog Freckles, is a mellow, friendly, border collie & dalmatian mix. We have a small, fenced in backyard, love play time and going on walks. Freckles gets along with all types of dogs, very rarely barks and is a gentle soul. She can be a couch potato, but loves walks and romping in the backyard. I am a Speech Therapist & Matt works at In n Out. We have different schedules so someone is almost always home with Freckles. About this sitter: I'm a Masters student who is dog sitting over summer break! I love dogs of all types & sizes. My 4 year old mixed dog gets along with everyone she meets.

We were going to Sacramento (we're in San Jose) and decided it'd be better to have a pet sitter in the area so we can just pick up our dog after we're done and head home. Melissa was a wonderful pet sitter! Our puppy cries when we leave him with pet sitters for about a few minutes or so with Melissa he stopped crying almost immediately and he was a good boy! She sent pictures and kept us updated and would let us know if he wasn't interested in eating and such, she was very honest about everything and we felt safe that Teddy was in her care! I would definitely have her pet sit Teddy if we are in the area again!
Melissa was great- flexible with pick-up/drop-off times, kept Bodie active with walks and play time with her dog Freckles, and sent some photos of Bodie too. I would use Melissa again and recommend her to others as well.

We had such a great experience with Melissa and her dog Freckles. I felt that our dog was very well cared for and loved while we were away. I would definitely recommend Melissa if you are considering a dog sitter and I won't hesitate to leave our dog with her again if she is available.
