Dogs have been a major part of my household since I was born. When I became 12 I was ready and more than willing to care for my own dog, somehow convincing my parents to get me a Sheltie puppy, adding to our home of another Sheltie (the sister of my pup from a different litter) and our older Keeshond. I trained her from then on, learning early what it takes to care for a dog. It was a lot of responsibility for adolescent me! However, my love for dogs grew into a passion for them. In college, I rescued a pup, saving him from an abusive home. He had no socialization and was terrified of almost everything. Sullivan grew to have unwavering trust in me, and I provided him with the love and safe environment he needed in order to become a dog one would never think had a rough past. I turned him into an Emotional Support Dog, with him also taking care of me until his death last year. I can provide training for any simple commands and some tricks if the dog is motivated enough! Beginning crate training and house training is also available.
