Hello! I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Denver in Creative Writing and working on another masters at the same school for Curriculum and Instruction. I love being outside with my own dog, Maggie--a one-eyed Great Dane/Doberman mix. I adopted her at three months old--the last of her litter because she only had one eye. I have an incredible amount of experience with dogs--even ones who have a disability like my own--and have a special place in my heart for them. At 4, Maggie is a happy, healthy, very active dog! We run almost every other day, hike, and snuggle on the couch during cold weather. She LOVES to play with other pups. I have a lot of experience with dogs, taken them to training classes, and trained them myself, so I am very experienced working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and disabilities.
