Pet care experience
I have had experience caring for small pets since I was a child, but 7 years ago, I got a cat. I loved having my own pet so much that I got a rescue dog named Lorei! (Sweet girl is in my photo) Fitz the cat and her get along well, due to lots of care and supervision in my bringing them together. I often dog-sit for my neighbor, who has two English bulldogs and various fosters through the animal rescue she works for. I love dogs! I love cats! And I'm good with them. I look forward to meeting yours 😻🐶

Melissa was responsive, kind, and attentive, bringing special toys and treats. Moreover, it was pretty obvious that my two cats adored her, from the pics and from how happy and content they seemed when I returned from my trip. So glad they have a great person to care for them when I am out of town!

Melissa was so above and beyond! It’s always a little stressful trusting your fur babies to someone you don’t know, but the reviews for Melissa were so glowing I booked her to watch my cats for a week while I was out of town. She sent adorable pictures twice a day, brought toys, and even came a bit early one of the days to close my windows because of a surprise thunderstorm. Can’t recommend her highly enough and so grateful to have a new go-to cat sitter that I can trust so much!
Melissa was a fantastic sitter for our cat while we were away for many days. She was very responsive and always gave us detailed updates which we appreciated as over zealous cat parents. She also managed to help out and keep an eye on our home during a hurricane in New Orleans which was very helpful since we were away and worried about the status of our home. We highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for an exceptional cat or dog or pet sitter.

I live in half a shotgun house, 3 rooms, a kitchen and a back porch with a fenced in backyard where your dog would have access to both sides. If your dogs like to play with others, I can introduce them to the very lazy and friendly bulldogs next door. There will never be more than one dog in the actual house, and that's my friendly girl, Lorei. She loves other dogs and loves to play. I take her to a huge and fenced in grassy lot every morning to run, and would be happy to take your pup along too to let them run and play. I also live next to the levee in the Riverbend, so there will be walks in the grass all the way to Audubon Park. And of course, lots of pets and snuggles!
