Hello and Welcome I'm an outdoor adventurer and animal lover who recently bought a home in New Bedford. I'm a believer in positive behavior reinforcement and the importance of exercise, love and care for all pets - great and small. Good to know: I'm Red Cross certified in cat and dog first aid and currently studying for my NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) certification. Senior & Special Needs Specialist As a mom to senior dogs, I understand pets with special needs - including diabetes management and low vision/blindness. I am experienced with giving pain-free injections and administering medications. In addition, I have a terrific DoggyRide dog stroller which is perfect for getting seniors out and about in the fresh air. As a lifelong pet owner, my goal is to give you peace of mind and your pet attention, love and care. The Extras I'll also share daily texts or journal entries and photos to give you that added peace of mind.

Melissa was a lifesaver when I needed a last minute sitter for my anxious dog. She was very communicative with me and was so patient and caring helping him get comfortable and settled in a new place. I have a large fenced yard with a safety gate. Dogs are never crated (unless at owners request) or left unattended in my home - ever. Your dog will enjoy outdoor time as he or she wishes and three walks - morning, lunchtime and a nighttime hike! Cool fresh water is provided around the clock as are treats and food (depending on your pups diet). My own pup is friendly and welcomes playmates.

My time with your pet is determined by you: Whether your dog wants a walk, a hike, a stroll in town, or a game of fetch in the yard - we'll work together to find just the right activity that suits him or her. My goal is to make sure they are happy, safe and cared for.
