I have cared for dogs ever since I was a small child. Currently I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Two of my dogs are special needs so I am comfortable with giving medications or communicating with deaf or blind fur babies and walking multiple dogs at once. I am a certified dog trainer and I also trained in pet first aid. I look forward to building a trusting relationship with you and your pet.

She is gentle and patient with animals, treats them with the respect they deserve, and couldn’t be recommended any higher for this.
Melissa has cared for several of her own pets for many years. She has taken care of a total of 5 dogs and 2 cats over the last 10 plus years. Her pets are well loved and taken care of. She is a very responsible pet caregiver and makes sure her own animals have everything they need. She would be an excellent choice as a dog walker.
Melissa is my daughter and has been a lifelong animal lover. She has had several pets growing up including two dogs. As an adult she and her husband have three dogs and two cats which she treats like her children. I can’t think of anyone that would be a better choice to care for someone else’s pet. If you need me to check on your fur baby while you are away I would be available to feed, walk, bathe and play with them. I am also building my dog training background after getting certified if you are open to me teaching them basic commands while I am visiting I can offer this as well. Please supply any allergies that I should be aware of as I will use training treats for this. Also, As previously mentioned I am comfortable with giving medications if needed while you are out.

I have one deaf dog and one dog with an autoimmune disease that requires medication. Please let me know if there is anything I should be aware of for your pet including allergies,medication, any safe words like “drop it”or “leave it” does anything set them off like smaller or bigger dogs while walking? Any ptsd from their history to be aware of. Feel free to be as thorough as possible to help me better understand and make that connection with your pet.
A typical day
I will play fetch, tug or any game your dog most enjoys. I can also bring a snuffle mat to hide food or treats to encourage natural instincts. I can teach them basic commands and would also walk your dog safely and securely.
