Pet care experience
I am an animal lover of 30+ years and a veterinary technician of 15 years. I have experience in wellness care, surgical and emergency hospitals which makes me very well equipped to manage injury or illness. I'm happy to accept animals into boarding or daycare with minor to severe medical needs including but not limited to subcutaneous fluids, insulin injections and blood glucose monitoring. I have experience with dog training in obedience, agility and animal behavior modification. I have a large home with plenty of play space, walking trails near by and a fenced area for free play. I can also travel to your pet if staying home is less stressful. Cats are welcome and will have their own kitty condo away from the dogs.

My dogs had a great time with Melissa and her fam, I had recently had a medical complication with both of my dogs and she was great in helping care for them along with providing a fun place for them to stay!
This sitter told us she couldn’t come after we paid. She then said she couldn’t stop payment. We have tried to book another date but that has not happened. Not all her fault. We had a hard time with some of the proposed new dates but, last message to find a date has gone unanswered for weeks. She has taken our money to walk two dogs and has not responded. I am out over $40 with no response.
Could not ask for a better dog sitting experience. Melissa welcomed our dog into our family for three days. I felt completely comfortable, knowing our dog was having a great time, and was well-cared for.
Melissa is wonderful she cared for Gus and Norman like they were part of her family. ❣️

A typical day
Summer time we set up kiddie pools and winter we build snow men and throw snowballs . My kids (6-16) also are very pet savvy and love to bring the dogs hiking.

Availability
We are a two person team. My husband and I work opposite shifts so someone is always home with the critters, making sure they are safe and having a good time! This also makes drop off and pick up easy and flexible.
