As a studying herbalist who works on a farm, not only will I lovingly take excellent care of your pets, but I can also tend to your plants! I have been taking care of my cat Sage for 9 years. I have three families who I pet/house sit for regularly over the past few years. From short stays to a month at a time, cats to dogs, I have plenty of experience, and am dependable, trustworthy, and caring.

Melissa is amazing! She babysat my son for many years and also dog sat for us several times. My dog is very picky about the people he likes and he adores Melissa. Over the many years that I've known her, Melissa has always been extremely competent and reliable. You can be sure that she will be good to your pets and that she can be relied on to handle many situations confidently and competently. Melissa is also a lovely person who is easy to work with. I couldn't recommend anyone more.
Melissa has cared for our children, pets, and home often over the last 3 years. We absolutely love her and cannot recommend her enough. Beyond the wonderful care she has always provided to my children, who consider her family at this point, we always feels so good with the love and care she provides for our cats when we're out of town. She has done this often and sometimes for as long as a month, and we always know our cats are not only well-fed but also well-loved when she's looking after them. I always have total peace of mind whenever working with Melissa.

It helps to know ahead of time any medications the dog is on, how the dog does on a leash, what commands the dog responds to, how the dog is with other dogs (for example, if we should walk on the opposite side of the street if approaching dogs), and how active/age the dog is to know how much exercise and how long of walks the dog needs.
A typical day
A typical day with the dogs would be going for walks in the neighborhood or if there’s a nearby hiking trail, playing in the yard, playing fetch at a nearby park or beach, or wherever their favorite places are!

Availability
I am currently traveling during the off-season of gardening in New York and am on the Big Island in Hawaii for a couple months! I am not currently working, so my full time job would be caring for your pets! I am able to walk pets or let them out as much as necessary, and available to spend lots of time playing with them. My schedule is open with full availability during the week and weekends.
