Growing up with German Shepherds, it’s safe to say I’ve been covered in dog fur since the womb. I have been around horses and dogs for my entire life, and about six years ago we expanded cats into the family. Outside from personal experience, I have dog sat for friends and have taken various jobs and volunteer positions tending to and training both dogs and horses.

I have been a friend of Melissas for almost a decade now and I can strongly say that she has always been one of the most responsible and reliable people I know. I can always rely on her as a friend to pick up the phone or make it to arrangements, and from an outside perspective I’ve always seen her prioritizing any work she has to get done (wether it’s school or a job.) She has also grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals- large and small- that she has always cared for. I cannot think of someone more qualified for this job!

I would like to know all of the little quirks of your furry friend! As I mentioned, I am a cuddler so I would like to know of any touch boundaries or triggers your pet may have. Additionally, I am more used to big, high energy dogs so anything you can tell me about your pet’s personality would help me to make them comfortable around a new person.
A typical day
My favorite way to spend time with dogs is to cuddle up, but I also love to get energetic! I love taking walks in calm parks where we both can take in the scenery or playing with their favorite toys.

Availability
I am currently a college student home for the summer who is working to find a suitable job. In the meantime, I am available pretty much 24/7, aside from tending to my own pets at home.
