Pet care experience
A house is not a home without a dog :) My senior shih-tzu passed away a few months ago and home hasn’t been the same since. I’d love to hang out with your furbabies while I work from home! I foster with a local rescue, so there’s a chance I may have a pup staying over as well. If your doggo prefers to be the star of the show, I can always rearrange my fostering schedule to accommodate, so please reach out directly so I can plan accordingly!

Melissa was wonderful with Tiger, she is easy going, friendly and flexible with her schedule. She was attentive, caring and made sure that Tiger ate and walked and was well taken care of. I would definitely use her again to watch my baby and would highly recommend her. Rest assure that your baby will be in good hands.

I live with my partner in a duplex apartment with a spiral staircase that leads into the basement/office area. We fenced it off so no animals can get through. I have a small-medium dog crate available for use if needed and our couches are up for grabs for all the furbabies!

Temperament, any medical issues, habits I should know about when walking or interacting with other people/animals. Please let me know about any separation anxiety in the event I have to step out of the apartment for a minute.
A typical day
Depending on the dog's temperament and preferences, we can go on walks to our local parks: Owl's Head Park or McKinley Park. For the lazy pups, I'm happy to stay in, snuggle and play as much as we want! There's plenty of room for fetch in our apartment for a small dog and since we live on the first floor, it's easy to go outside for a potty break.

I work from home Monday through Friday so can take your dog out for walks as many times necessary. I’ll always make time for belly rubs and play.
