We call all dogs puppies at our house! I've been taking care of neighbors' dogs since I was a kid and was the go-to house sitter for my friends when I lived in Florida. Now I've got 2 kids of my own and my youngest is OBSESSED with dogs. We had to put our basset hound down so we have extra love to share. I feel like I have mastered giving pups medicine, cleaning ears and I used to have to dremmel my basset's nails. I do work full time, typically gone 8-4:30 but less than 3 miles from my house and have the ability to work from home so weekdays I can come home midday for walk/potty breaks. Weekends we stick close to home and spend a lot of time playing in the yard or hitting up our favorite parks-we have 4 parks within 6 blocks of our house! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a ginormous living room/playroom. We have all wood floors (with area rugs) Our dog loved to sleep on my memory foam carpets in my bedroom and hang out in the living room while the kids played. I have a 5 year old who will want to do his own thing and my 2 year old might not leave your dog's side. After the kids go to bed your pup will snuggle up with me on the couch or by my feet.
