Pet care experience
I am a really big animal lover! I have 2 cats and a dog of my own and they mean the absolute world to me. They are a part of my family and I treat any other animal I meet just the same as I do my own, With LOVE!!! Currently working as a veterinarian assistant at a vet hospital. Certified Vet Assistant -Worked at petco (for 3 years) -Worked as a kennel assistant, as a vet assistant and at a doggy daycare. ( for 5 years) -House sit family and friends dogs ( for 3 years) -Knowledgeable with giving medication -Have observed dog training classes. My hours right now very. I do work full time but the schedule changes every week. I am pretty flexible and will do what I can to make things work for you and you animals! ❤

Melissa was great... very friendly and prompt. She took great care of our dogs over a long weekend and just as important as keeping them happy is that she's trustworthy. Inviting someone into your home is always a concern but she left us with no feelings of trepidation whatsoever. We'll definitely use Melissa in the future. One more thing that I appreciate - when Melissa came to meet us for the first time, she took notes. It's great to know that somebody cares enough to document important things rather than rely on memory and then forget in the end.
Melissa has a lot of experience with pets because of her background. When we met for a meet & greet she was on time, personable and my two cavalier's really felt very comfortable with her immediately. I had an unexpected cancellation from another sitter a day later and Melissa was able to help me out even though she family obligations that day. We highly recommend her for pet sitting.

Melissa has always loved animals and that becomes very clear when you see her interacting with them! I used to work side by side with her at a kennel in our area and she always made sure the pets had what they needed and gave special attention to the ones that seemed to need a little something more. She has a special place in her heart for large dogs but has owned and loves small dogs as well. She is patient, kind, and caring for any animal that I've seen her come in contact with.
