About me: Hello! My name is Melissa, I am 29 years old and married to my best friend, a Major in the USAF. Our family consists of the two of us and our fur baby, Captain, a 7 year old male yorkie. I have loved dogs since I was a child and now being a dog parent I know how important it is to have someone you can trust tend to your dogs needs when you can not. I have never boarded my dog because I don't want him to be in that sort of environment, but as a military spouse who moves often it is not always easy to find a friend In a new location to trust with your pet. I hope to provide such service to those who need it. About your dogs experience in my home: I am currently a stay at home wife, so the ability to give your pup the attention he or she needs is no issue. I will walk your dog as often as needed and have plenty of time for play and exercise. Our yard is fenced and fully secure. My home is very pet friendly, with laminate floors throughout the main living areas. As we all know accidents happen, so at least this makes for an easy clean up. I do own a pet fence in the case that an animal needs to be sepperated from another for any reason. I am also located next to many veternarian clinics in the case of an emergency and I have expiernce in giving oral medication to dogs of all sizes. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was 8 years old I was bitten bad on the face by a neighbor hood dog who attacked me while I was riding my bike, even after the attack I never blamed the dog, it didnt even change my love for dogs. I believe every dog deserves to be loved the way I love my pup. About my yard: Large, fenced in My experience administering medication: Yes. I have experience with administration of medication to both small and very large dogs.
