Pet care experience
I'm a huge animal lover, and I've been dog sitting, walking dogs, etc. for several years now. I have two dogs myself, an English bulldog named Blue and a Pomeranian named Mouse. We adopted Blue from a shelter after breeders had no more use for her, so I'm definitely a huge advocate for adoption. I have a 9 year old daughter who likes to tag along with me sometimes, and she loves animals and will ensure your pet gets tons of loving while away from you. We recently got a cat as well, but she is very used to being around dogs. I live in Smyrna, but I service surrounding areas like Murfreesboro as well. Melissa was great! I needed some last minute care for my kitten post-surgery while I was at work and Melissa came through. She did great and went out of her way to keep my cat separate from the other animals, while still giving her lots of love, so that she wouldn't hurt herself. I will definitely be using her in the future should I need care again!

My experience with Melissa and her family was nothing less than amazing! They were extremely attentive to Chewy and provided me with updates and pictures while I was out of town to let me know how things were going. I treat your pets with the same care and attention I would treat my own with. I always follow any rules or guidelines the pet owner has for their animal as well. If the pet has a complex routine or there are several things you want me to be mindful of, then I definitely appreciate a handwritten or typed note being given at drop off just so I can make sure things are exactly how you want them and I don't forget anything!

I definitely appreciate knowing a dog's eating schedule, potty schedule, if the dog tends to have accidents, if there is any food aggression, how they do with kids & other animals, and any other random quirks you think is important for me to know about your dog.
A typical day
While I don't have a backyard, my community has a dog park that I frequently utilize for the dogs to let them get some energy out. They will also get plenty of lovin' & attention from kids.

Availability
I have a unique work schedule, so I'm home pretty much all day Saturday-Tuesday to care for your fur babies. I can still accommodate the other days though as well with the help of my boyfriend.
