Pet care experience
I’ve always grown up with a dog in my life. My family’s most recent dog has now become my own as she has moved out of my parents house with me. I’ve gone through puppy training school with 2 of ours dogs and helped my mom train their newest black lab puppy. My dog is 10 years old, so I have a lot of care towards senior dogs as well and making sure they’re happy and healthy!

This was my first time using Rover and I was so thrilled to find Melissa. When she came over to meet my dogs I knew right away I hit the jackpot! She was so great with my dogs and cats and kept me up to date with pictures. I highly recommend Melisa and would use her again in a heartbeat!
Melissa was terrific. She was very responsive from the beginning until the end of her stay at our home. She sent pics of out dog to me, brought our mail in, our garbage out and kept our house super clean. Our dog was happy when we got home instead of being mad at us. Would love to use her again and would highly recommend Melissa! Excellent experience.

Melissa was wonderful with our cat and dog. We came back and they were happy to see us, but not overly needy, which is a sign that they were played with and taken care of. She also was prompt showing up for each drop in visit, and sent pictures immediately afterwards. Thanks Melissa!

My older, friendly black lab can keep your dog company. I also understand sometimes how tough it can be for dogs to relocate to a new home while watching them, which makes me very flexible is coming to your place to watch your dog if that is easier for you and your pup.

A typical day
I love to play both outdoors and indoors with dogs. If it’s too hot outside, we can play tug, play mental games with treats to stimulate their brain. If it’s nice out, we can go for long walks and go to nearby parks in the neighborhood.

I am a teacher that is off for the summer! This gives me plenty of time to take care and enjoy time with your dogs! Not only would your dogs be happy, but I would be thrilled for some extra dog time.
