Hi! I’m Melissa! I am a teacher in Eagan and a life long dog lover. If you need care for your dog during summer, weekends, evenings, holiday check ins, I am your girl! I welcome puppies under a year, large breeds and older dogs who just need some company or extra TLC. Dogs that stay in my home or visit for daycare must be spayed/neutered. I only accept one animal booking at a time, due to space, and also to give your fur-baby the most love and attention possible. We have 2 large, fenced in, “dog parks” that I use when we have them to ourselves, for exercise, and miles of sidewalk walking nearby. My Golden Retriever loves walking and hangout buddies! We will have lots of outside sniffing/exploring time and chillaxing/ snuggle time, depending on your pup’s needs.

We are crate flexible and welcoming. There are 2 off leash areas available at my townhome complex. I only use them if there are known dogs around or if we have them to ourselves.

I would like to know if your dog is potty-trained, plays well with other dogs and is well-socialized. Most days, I am not gone for longer than 1.5 hours to go to the gym so I’d want to know if your dog is crate-trained or has any destructive tendencies.
A typical day
We love to hike and walk, A LOT! We use the 2 fenced in areas in our community for exercise, but we also use the miles and sidewalks around us for exercise and mental stimulation. I want your dog to feel welcome, stimulated and physical fulfilled.

I teach full time 7am-3pm. I have the luxury of dedicating afternoons, evenings and weekends to my dog and his playmates or to my family and friends.
