My first pet as a child was a full-bred German Shepard. She was my life and dogs continue to be a big part of it. My first dog that was personally my own was a street stray that I had adopted from an animal shelter when I was 7 and lived to be a whopping 19 years old, sadly passing after we had to put her down due to physical ailments and complications. Due to my current living arrangements I am unable to keep dogs at my own place overnight as much as I would love to, but I would not feel comfortable having your pup stay overnight in a tiny apartment. I do not feel that should stop me from having daily dog-sittings or even coming to your home and watching your pet overnight! I would love, LOVE to do this full time but currently do not have any standing with Rover or surrounding dog owners to do so, so I am still working my office job and have limited hours on weekdays after 1PM... Once I become more grounded within the Rover community and people start to come to me with their pets, my availability will become more open and I can start to take in more dogs :-) I have had at least 2 dogs for every year I've been alive and love each one just as much as the next. I've gained a few years experience volunteering with Richmond Animal League and have always loved any dog I have adopted as if I have raised them myself. I am calm and patient and willing to have your pup get used to me before you leave them in my care. No dog too big or too small that wouldn't fill my heart with joy, so let me cuddle and love your pup just as you do!
