I have two small chihuahuas of my own and wholly understand our pets are just like family. I have years of experience watching friends dogs as well as here on Rover from puppies to aging. I love all animals, especially dogs and I am willing to provide the same kind of dedicated care for your pup as I do for my own two. I have experience with some dog training techniques, I am willing to give your pup the exercise and attention they need as well as all the love and snuggles they want too! Must be amenable to other dogs as I have two in the house. I have a small enclosed patio and doggy door for your dogs convenience. Many thanks for your consideration!

Melissa was great! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family, and Melissa took extra care to make sure things went smoothly. She arranged a meet and greet prior to our dog’s stay to make sure he got along with her pups (who are adorable), and sent pictures and video updates during the stay which put us at ease.
Melissa was very friendly and her dogs were very well behaved. She made Lola feel at home and I have no doubt she was in the best care. When staying in the area, we will definitely be reaching out to her again.
I have trusted Melissa with my boy Tux for over a year now. She makes him feel right at home & always texts with pictures and updates. Wouldn’t take Tux anywhere else.

For boarding, Must get along with other dogs as I have two in the house. My 6 year old boy chihuahua loves to romp and play with other dogs if they are interested.
A typical day
If desired I’ll walk your dog 2 miles a day along with my own two on the pedestrian walking path near my home. We sometimes go to the dog park in my neighborhood as well.

Availability
I am currently working from home most days of the week and will be there with your dog most of the time. We take at least 2 long walks a day and sometimes more if time permits.
