I’ve always loved animals as a child and young adult. I also grew up taking care of my family pet (a female Silky Terrier) who lived 14 beautiful years before her passing in 2018. Thanks to the pandemic, I've been able to hone in and build a loyal clientele where I offer pet sitting, walking and boarding experiences for both dogs and cats. I can help elevate any pet stress you may be experiencing and am available to work ASAP. Located in the Bronx, but willing to travel.

Melissa was great and provided updates and videos throughout Sebo’s stay. She is laid back and accommodating. I could tell Sebo was in good hands and he was sad to leave her when I picked him up. Highly recommend!!
Melissa was personable and friendly, calm, confident, on time and fun to work with. She was so attuned to Nico (our 8 week old Maltipoo) and already taught him a new trick (sit) by the time I arrived home, which she recorded for me. We hope to have her back again and again for longer stints, including house sitting when we are on vacation. It's like having a caring sitter and experienced trainer rolled into one! Highly recommend her.

A typical day
A day in the life of being a pet sitter is fun. I love animals and caring for them. Walking in the door and seeing their happy face to greet you is such a great feeling. There is usually feeding and filling the water bowls or giving medications, which they might resist, but it is important for their health that they take it. Then I like to get outside for walking or playing with toys to get their exercise throughout the day. Most of the time it is just making sure they have company and that they get to go potty when they have to go so it is not in the house. Being a companion for the pets is the most important aspect of the job.

I require a minimum 2 hour notice ahead of time. My schedule is fully flexible and open to early mornings and evening walks Monday- Sunday.
