Responsible Single Mom Dog Walker!
Pet care experience
I am a responsible single mom, in need of some extra income, with a 4 year old daughter that has extra energy for walking and playing with your pooch! We do have 2 cats, but 1 is an outside neighborhood cat and the other one lives in my bedroom (the master bedroom) of my house and can be locked up if your doggie comes and stays with us. I've been taking care of animals my whole life and doing whatever it takes to take care of them as well. They have always been apart of my family, not a job or a chore. I'm also the person my family and friends call when they need someone to watch or take care of their animals as well. I do have experience administering medication to animals as well, as I have had to administer multiple kinds of medications over the years ranging from oral pills and oral liquids to rectal medications, injections, sprays, creams, ointments, eyes and ear drops.

Melissa did a great job taking care of our cat with daily drop-in visits for six days. Her after-visit updates were detailed and well-written. We had great confidence that our cat was well cared for. Highly recommended.

Melissa is conscientious & reliable. She took excellent care of our 2 cats while we were on vacation for over a week. We returned to find them in excellent health with clean cat boxes, fresh water & plenty of food. We will gladly set another Appt. with her through Rover & hope she will be available to care for our kitties again. Thanks again Melissa❣️

I have a fenced back yard with grass and a porch. I also have a dog run on the side of my house with a dog house. I live a block away from an elementary school and 3 blocks away from a dog park. And less then a mile away from another dog park! My parents also live 2 blocks away and my daughter and I are always walking back and forth visiting Gramma and Papa!

I would like to know how your pet is around young children as I have a 4 year old daughter who doesn't understand boundaries very much! She loves animals and doesn't always understand why animals don't love her back! Lol
A typical day
We will go on walks to either or both of the dog parks. Play/walk/run at the dog parks. Play in my backyard. My daughter will love to play with your pup too! If your dog is good with toddlers, then they will be in heaven! She loves dogs!! Normally we would walk to my parent's house, but due to COVID, we won't currently be doing that, for your families safety and my parent's safety.

Availability
I am currently unemployed due to COVID and using Rover to supplement any kind of income. I had 2 jobs in the service industry when the state shut down back in March 2020 and was only using Rover for a little side income, but now it has become almost my primary income. Because of this and the pandemic, I do take extra precautions, on a regular basis, making sure you, your pup and your family as well as me and my family stay safe in these trying and uncertain times! Mask wearing, social distancing during meet & greets, as well as during walks with other dogs and dog walkers, hand washing and sanitizing on a regular basis and any other concerns you may have, just ask, I will do anything and everything I can to meet your and your puppy's needs! I am also fully vaccinated and have received my booster shot. Due to COVID, I am currently not offering certain services such as dog boarding and house sitting because I do have a 4 year old daughter at home🏡! But I am still proudly offering dog walking and dropin visits and will take care of your pup🐶 like they are my own!
