I’ll give your dog the affection they would normally receive from you! When I was 12 I helped my mom raise 15 golden retriever pups at once and it was the best experience ever. I’m definitely a dog person at heart. I joke that every time one of my siblings has a baby, I get a dog. They’re like my children and I believe dogs are family and deserve to be treated that way, including letting them sleep in my bed and lounge on the couch. Although my dogs are both rather small, I absolutely love big dogs! I grew up with a golden, helped to raise and sell a litter of her puppies, helped raise my sisters chocolate lab, and since have adopted my own fur babies.
