I have cared for cats for many years. I began cat sitting in college and did frequent overnight stays and/or house sitting as well as drop in visits. I have more than 24 years experience caring for cats. I share my home with one sweet seal point Siamese rescue TomTom, a very opinionated Persian rescue named Mattie and an obnoxious flame point Siamese rescue named Blaze. This was our second booking with Melissa and she is amazing with our two cats, always on time and going above and beyond when needed. Our very shy cat who barely comes out for strangers warmed up to her quickly and loves playing with her.
Melissa provided the best care we could've hoped for, for our fur baby. This was my first time using rover and she did not disappoint. Every visit she made we got a great updated and adorable pictures. My kitty loved his time with her! She made sure he got lots of exercise and love to ease his mind while we were away and it also eased my mind over our vacation, seeing that he was in such great hands. She genuinely understands cats needs and unique personalities. You can clearly tell she truly cares for her furry clients as she goes above and beyond to make sure their needs are met and then some. I couldn't be more grateful and cannot recommend Melissa enough! We will definitely be booking with her again for future needs ◡̈

A typical day
A visit would consist of feeding, refreshing water, scooping the litter box as well as providing love, play and pets depending on the situation and the cat. If your cat is shy or not interested in engaging, I will talk to them and hopefully we can become friendly.

I work from home so I have the flexibility to be able to do visits before work, during my lunch and after work. I only accept as many clients as I can fit into my day as I want to make sure that your cat receives the best care possible while you are away.
