Dog loving family
Pet care experience
I’ve owned animals since I was little and I’ve owned dogs for the last 10 years. My first dog was a rough collie. She was fully trained by myself but unfortunately passed away before we had our baby girl. We now have an English Springer Spaniel puppy who’s full of energy and has been trained by ourselves. My family has always had animals (chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats) and we just moved to Dorset from Hereford, where we were living in a farm. I am a stay at home mum so I have plenty of availability. We start the day very early (joys of parenthood!) and have two big walks (around 45 minutes) and lots of playtime in our garden. We have a secured, fenced garden and lots of green areas around us.

Melissa was amazing!! Couldnt have asked for anyone better to look after my dog. She let me visit the place before dropping him off which made me feel a lot better as it was my first time leaving my dog with someone. She sent me pictures of his day which was amazing! Poor doggy was so exhausted from all the fun he had he crashed out the minute he got home. Very happy with the service ☺️
Melissa was absolutely brilliant from the word "go". We couldn't have been happier with the way Geno was looked after, fed and exercised, not to mention the fact that he had other doggies to hang out with!!
Melissa was amazing, sending lots of pictures and videos whilst we were away. Bear & Yoda seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We will definitely use her again.
Melissa was extremely kind and caring and put my mind totally at ease with regards to Jasmines (my German Shepherds) stay with her. I was kept regularly updated as to Jasmines activities and well being and I can’t praise Melissa enough. Well done!

I have a secure fenced garden which has plenty of space for running around and having fun. We have plenty of toys and games for doggies, specially toys to make them think (our Springer loves them!). We also have lots of green areas and walks around us.

Information Melissa M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog is fine with other animals and off the lead. Also if he/she has any special needs or routines I should be aware of and if they are ok to be with toddlers
A typical day
We usually start the day around 7am and take our puppy out, he then enjoys breakfast while we eat our breakfast. We have a big walk (45 minutes) at 10am and I let him off the lead to burn some energy. If the weather is not great we have a walk along the forest where I can throw the ball while covered by the trees. At 12pm he has lunch and a little lay down. During this time our garden door is open so he can come in and out the house whenever he wants - I always keep an eye on him but anyway our garden in secure and he’s got no way to escape! At 4pm we go for another big walk, this time 30 minutes and we come back home to play for a little bit in our garden (we throw the ball, play hide and seek with the baby, play with balloons, etc) He gets toilet breaks every hour too just in case. My baby girl goes to bed around 7pm and after that I get to play with Hunter in the house and my husband takes him for a short walk around 9pm. I finish my day around 11pm
