Pet care experience
Throughout my entire life I have been surrounded by animals. I was that kid that would see a stray animal and immediately bring it home. I have had two cats and two dogs throughout my life and have greatly cared for them. All my pets are members of my family and are cherished and adored. I will ensure that your loving pet feels cared for and secure. I also have experience with special needs dogs. My latest dog had severe anxiety and was extremely cautious and lacked trust. Another dog I take care of has diabetes and I have experience providing insulin shots and medication.

Melissa is awesome! She cared for my dog greatly. My fur-baby is only about 14 lbs but very energetic and she kept up with him! She is very reliable and communicative. I definitely would recommend her watching over your pet!
We’ve gone through several dog caregivers, but Melissa has been the most loving dog person that we’ve ever had. Not only that, but she’s also a great people person as well. She is very responsible and attentive to our dog. My wife and I believe that she’s gifted with a touch of dog whispering and consistently keeps her trustworthiness at a very high standard. Melissa is one in a million! She dog sits for me all the time, even when she lives a couple of hours away. Her caring heart for animals makes it all worth it. Things I would like to know about a pet is their physical activity level, activities they enjoy, if they like to be pet a lot and if they trust easily. I love all types of dogs, big or small!
A typical day
I believe in being active whether you have two legs or four. Daily walks are a necessity for each dog whether it’s a long stroll or a short peaceful walk. Most dogs I have cared for are energetic and love to go on walks or play fetch. I have also cared for a couple couch potatoes. In this case I would try to encourage physical activity such playing catch or even playing with their favorite toys. I also understand dogs are like humans and have different levels of physical activity.

Availability
I currently work Thursday evenings to Sunday evenings at my families local business. I am flexible Monday through Wednesday and on Thursday's I am available from 6 AM to 4 PM. I am willing to work some weekends, but would like a notice no shorter than a week.
