My love for dogs is immeasurable. I love them all. It doesn’t matter the size, breed, or personality as I find something to love in every dog I meet. I really don’t know life without dogs. When I worked full time I entrusted my 2 dogs with a dog walker. It was the best thing I ever did because it gave me peace of mind knowing my dogs were being walked and loved up each day until I could get home to walk and love them up myself. Every dog I have owned or meet have their quirks, like people! I’m quick to learn their ways and work with them. Currently I have a dog whom will only eat off a paper plate placed in the corner of the kitchen… strange but true, and how I figured that out is priceless! My dog, Mattie needed daily injections under his skin for seizure control and Mr. Harry wore a belly band for incontinence. In my earlier years I took a dog walking gig for the summer where the dog started barking the minute we got outside and continued for the 30 min walk! Yikes! But we figured it out together and by the end of the summer with a pocket full of treats, we had peaceful walks and a super strong bond. Right now have 2 senior gals that I rescued because they were old and needed a place where they could live out their senior years with peace and love. Sure, they need more frequent trips to the vet and require more attention than my 6 year old silly girl but after all, dogs get old, like people, and that is when they need us more than ever; I’m here for you Sandy and Mabel!
