Pet care experience
Hello there, my name is Melissa. I am doing this for my own selfish reasons. I miss my dog Gizzy SOOO bad my heart hurts!! I miss the little shadow following me everywhere. I know you have a shadow too. Please give me the opportunity to spend time with your Shadow! I have Experience in puppy through senior age. My specialty currently is medium dogs. Really not a big deal as I love them all! I just recently put my pug Gizzy to sleep, he was 13.5. I also have experience in Administering medicine, seizures, doggy dementia, arthritis, blindness, tracheal collapse and any other special need there could be. I have tons of patience, compassion, energy, and I am very empathetic. I am available: M-F and wknds anytime. Please, let me help you with your lil shadow. It’s a 3 way win, you get the help, they get the care, and I get to fill the void of all I am missing now that my Gizzy has crossed the rainbow bridge. I grew up on a farm so we had some of everything chickens, cows, horses, sheep, rabbits, snakes, and eww a spider named Harry; he was a tarantula. Some feeder mice and rats. Of course we had cats and dogs. I have a spot in my heart for it all. Thank you for your time and consideration. I know that I am the right person to help you care for your little Shadow. I also have 2 new members to my family her name BabyGirl, she is husky/malamute she is 2 yr old. His name is Biggie brother and sister. It would be great to be able to bring them from time to time.

Melissa stayed at my home with Rita, my French bulldog. She is a great service provider, left Rita with a sweater and cute bandanna - would highly recommend her to stay at your home with your fur babies!!! I will be requesting Melissa on all my upcoming needs!
Melissa has been a consistently wonderful sitter for our dog! She gives her great attention and play while we are away. Our dog has anxiety, and we’ve noticed that she’s perfectly calm when Melissa watches her. We’re so grateful for her attentive dog sitting!
Melissa did a great Job with Cooper and staying at our farm. I will definitely hire her again.
Melissa did a great job with Bessie this week. We were staying at a Sioux Falls hotel and asked Melissa to stay with Bessie while we went to dinner and did some local shopping. She sent us a photo of Bessie sleeping about an hour after we left the room. It was a nice reassurance that she relaxed and was sleeping. Melissa is a nice and compassionate person to take care of your dog's needs while you are aware from them. Consider arranging Melissa for any of your doggie needs!

I want them to have the closest, to home experience as possible. We have to be in leashes for the most part of the day but we can go to dog parks and play and run as much as we want.

If they are compatible with other dogs/puppies? As I could possibly have my dog along as well. She is a 2yr old husky/malamute. Do they get along with strangers? Do they listen? What are their likes and dislikes? If they have any preferences on anything or do you have any? What is in their normal routine? I want to keep this stay or visit as close to normal as possible for them. Depending on the extent of care that is needed, I would like to have clear instructions typed out.
A typical day
I’m down for whatever is clever, bike trails, country roads, city sidewalks, dog park. I will take your dog swimming if that’s what sounds fun. We can play fetch, do some problem solving games, or lay around. I’m not picky, and want to do things that your dog enjoys to do. Maybe that is just being with them and not doing anything.
