*** Is this your first time using Rover -- $20 off for New Customers when booking your first stay, just ask me how*** **Please check me out on Instagram @fouryourpawsonlymn and Facebook @fouryourpawsonlymn*** A bit about me: I understand what it's like to worry about your dog when you're away, I have three fur babies of my own--Deuce (Basset Hound), Lincoln (Staffie/Great Dane) and Piper (Shih Tzu). I love them with all my heart and when I go away I want the best care possible for them. I want to give that care to your pup(s)!! I spent many years working at the Humane Society of WI. It was so wonderful to help the fur babies find their forever families. I am super active and love to get outside. My dog clients will receive the 5-paw treatment, and their owners will too! This will feel like it is their second home!! FOR BOARDING: Daycare is automatically included. However, per Rover guidelines, pickup time should be twenty-four hours from drop off. (For example, if your pet is dropped off at 2:00 p.m. pickup should be by 2:00 p.m. on the day you return.) I completely understand travel issues can arise, which is why I am more than happy to arrange a later time to accommodate your needs. For pickups after your pet's scheduled slot, a daycare charge will be added. Or, if applicable, additional overnight boarding is needed. Please note—I am very comfortable and willing to take long term guests; I have significant experience with doggies who have been with us up to 6 months!! Animals are more than just pets, they truly are family and companions. I promise to care for your furry family member just like you do, please reach out with any questions you may have! Thanks again and I look forward to meeting your pup(s). This is a family business and your pup becomes part of our family! Drop offs and/or pickups can be in the morning by 7am or after 4pm, M-F, Sat and Sun can be discussed in more detail :) We do not have drop off’s or pickups randomly during the day, this helps keep the stress level down for all of our boarding dogs and our family We have a fenced in yard and two very friendly dogs that will be good buddies with your pup!! We update our clients many times a day with videos and photos! We are able to crate dogs upon request the owners!

Melissa is always so accommodating when my pup stays with her! I had some specific timing constraints during the last visit that she was more than willing to work with me on. My dog is always so happy when she gets to go to Melissa’s and comes home happy and tired. Highly recommend Melissa for your pup’s stay.
Highly recommend Melissa! We had our pup do a two week stay which was the longest time we have left her. Melissa was great at sending update pictures and videos. Our pup loved all the playtime and she seemed very comfortable during her stay. We will definitely rebook her the next time we go out of town!
Melissa and her family welcome our two dogs into the family as if they are her own. She is great about checking in and sending pictures. She knows them and lets us know if they seem "off"... bladder infection or skin irritation etc. Not sure we'd be able to travel without having Melissa to safely and happily watch our dogs!
We love Melissa! We’ve used them twice now and our dogs were so excited to be back when we dropped them off. Super communicative, sends frequent updates and our dogs have a lot of fun, come home tired and well cared for.

Please let me know if your doggo has special needs of any kind -- I am happy to accommodate. Are they comfortable around kids? Do they get along with other dogs? Do they have any health issues? Do they require medication? I am experienced and knowledgeable in administering. How are they with new people? What else can I do to make them comfortable? I have no breed restrictions; all dogs are welcome - All I ask is that they are comfortable around other dogs, this ensures everyone has a great time!! ***To keep all my dogs safe all dogs must be vaccinated and current on their shots and on some form of Flea/Tick Prevention, when applicable***
A typical day
What to expect when your pup stays with me: -- My home is very dog friendly and dog proofed; which includes a 2-way entrance so your pup is safe while you’re away. --There are only 3 steps to enter the fenced in backyard; this is an extra benefit for our older pups. --Each doggie has their own cubby for their items to keep them from being mixed up. --There are clean and sanitized dog dishes available for meal time; this includes slow feeders. --There is an endless supply of filtered water readily available at all times. --My home is a smoke-free and there are no smokers in the family. --There are many bones and toys to chew on and hoard if they feel the need – no need to bring your pup's favorites. -- There are many human laps to curl up in for those very needed snuggle breaks. --Does your doggie enjoy stretching out in the perfect dog bed or burrowing in a mound of blankets? They will find many placed throughout the house – However, if your pup prefers their own smell, absolutely bring theirs along! --Inside: Pups have access to the upper level of our home which includes 2 living spaces -- so there is ample room for moving about and finding that perfect spot to call theirs. --Outside: Pups will enjoy a large deck perfect for sunbathing and watching wildlife -- For those more adventurous dogs we have a 1/4 acre fully fenced in yard to burn off that energy -- Newly added -- a brand new large dog run that includes turf and a 6ft high vinyl fence to help with our fence jumpers! ***So really, what does my dog need to bring you ask?? Their favorite food for meal time and a great sense of adventure!***
