I was so lucky to grow up with many different dogs in my family and I have been around them my entire life. I spoil my dog, Bella, like crazy and I would love the opportunity to do the same for your furbaby. I understand that dogs become family members and I aim to give you a worry free time away from them. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with belly rubs, play time and cuddles. I'll send daily pictures so that you don’t miss them (as much) too. I have everything your dog needs: treats, toys, blankets, car seat belts, food bowls and a bed so they will feel right at home. If your dog has a lot of energy, we can go on walks/play in the yard or if your dog is a snuggle bug, we'll curl up with a blanket. Whatever your dog needs, I'll make sure they are comfortable and happy. My backyard is fenced in, fully secure and we live on a quiet cul-de-sac that is ideal for every dog. In the summers, we spray for mosquitoes which leads to more fun outside and a pleasant, bug free time for every dog (and human). I have a daughter of toddler age and since she can be easily knocked over, we are currently not taking dogs over 50lbs. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

I cannot speak highly enough of Melissa and Brian! From the meet and greet to the check-ins to the pick up time, I could tell Callie was in great hands! Bella and Callie got along very well and I will definitely be using them again. Definitely recommend!
Wow, I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for Melissa and her Husband! I have an older dachshund who has a lot of needs. Not only did they understand his need but they went above and beyond. They took him to the beach, went on walks and truly treated my dog as their own. My dog has back issues and they took the looks and laughs as they strolled the pup along the Oceanside in his stroller when he was too tired to walk haha... can’t even express how happy this made me! Bella, their dog is such a sweetheart. If you are worried about your dog getting along with Bella, DONT!! She took my older dog under her wing and made him feel comfortable. Bean has been so happy and spunky since coming home. I will truly never send my dog anywhere else. If you want a loving and happy environment (as if it was yours) - then this is who you want to watch your dog. I can’t say enough. Beyond happy and satisfied!!! :) Thanks again!

How are they with children? My daughter is of toddler age and can be easily knocked over by larger dogs. How are they with other dogs? Bella is a big sweetie and does like to smell other dogs. She usually always needs to smell and have a calm introduction at first when meeting a new dog. Do they have any favorite treats? Do they have any allergies to food? How are they on a leash? Does your dog have any triggers? What is the longest time they have been alone without you?
A typical day
Weather permitting activities: • Upton State Forest • Milford walking/bike trails • Neighborhood walks • Fetch and sniffing in our yard • Dog park (for repeat clients only and approved by owner) • Nearby restaurant that has a dog friendly patio If it is a rainy day, a trip to Lowe's for laps around the store tires Bella out. Plus we can play with our collection of toys inside the house. I'm usually always baking homemade treats, so there is a good chance your dog will also enjoy a few tasty treats :) No matter what we do during the day, we'll spend the night curled up relaxing with cuddles.

I work from home so I am available to give your dog the bathroom breaks and playtime they need throughout the day. I can also tuck them in on the couch for their nap if that’s more their style too.
