Work from home dog lovers

Pet care experience

Melissa has always LOVED dogs and grew up with a cockapoo named Buffy who lived for 17 years. If you invite her to a BBQ, you'll find her hanging out with all the dogs. She has also dogsat for friends for a number of years. Julian is also an animal lover who grew up with two cats. He has since become a doggie magnet. All the pups we have cared for stick to him like glue. In the past we've taken care of a golden-doodle, golden retriever, pomeranian, boston terrier, frenchie, pug, lab, beagle, husky, and a few mixed breeds. We have a soft spot for senior dogs, labs, huskies, golden retrievers, and sheep dogs. They're just so sweet! Doggie daycare includes two 30min walks per day and lots of belly rubs. Our home is the perfect place for your dog to relax! Please message us a few days ahead of your dogsitting needs. We'll set up a Meet & Greet so we can get to know you and your dog. We both work from home during the week and also have flexible work schedules so we have plenty of time to care for your dog. Our house has an unfenced yard. Our spacious home has lots of room for a dog crate or bed. We have a trusty blanket to put on our couch so your dog can lounge there too. Our house has a two small staircases inside. We’re happy to care small dogs up and down the stairs if needed. Larger dogs need to be alright on stairs to stay with us. We have dog dishes, blankets, towels, a leash, and poop bags. On walks we carry a portable doggie dish and water bottle. So important on hot days!

I can't thank enough to her for accepting the very last minute request and her kindness! Chouchou definitely looked very comfortable with her and she sent me many photos and updates on her which made me feel relieved. I'll definitely come to her again when Chouchou needs help. Thank you, Melissa 🤗

Melissa did a wonderful job taking care of my dog, Dorca while I was at work. Drop off and pickup were nice and easy and she kept me updated with pictures. Dorca clearly had a great time, he didn't want to leave. I hope to leave Dorca with them again in the future.

Information Melissa & Julian C. would like to know about your pet

Does your dog need constant attention? We both work so unfortunately can't watch your dog every minute. Does your dog have separation anxiety or have issues being alone? If so, one of us is typically at home at all times during the week. However, on weekends we only accept dogs who are comfortable being alone for at least 4 hours. We'll always take them for a walk or bathroom break before leaving them home alone. If that all sounds great, we'll set up a Meet & Greet at a park to get to know one another. These are some of the questions we'll ask when we meet: - How often does your dog need potty breaks? - What is your dog's routine and eating schedule? - How is your dog with kids, strangers, and other dogs? - Do they have any injuries to be aware of or time limits on walks? (We love to take long walks if your dog can handle it!) We know that's a lot of questions! Please message us and introduce us to your dog. We'll ask more questions at our Meet & Greet when we get to know each other.
