Pet care experience
We are home educators, hobby farmers and pet lovers. Our family has many years of experience caring for animals of all kinds. We have helped countless friends and neighbors with their pets and livestock while they were away on vacation or even long days at work. We have cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, cows, goats, chickens, etc. all our lives and would love to assist you with your pet sitting needs while you are away.

Melissa and Joseph are awesome! Our 6 mos. old Bernadoodle, Winston, was very well taken care of while we were on a family trip. We feel so grateful for the amazing care Winston received. It was a relief knowing he was in great care while we were away. He was certainly spoiled with walks, playtime, and getting to be a part of the family.
Melissa and Joseph arrived on time each day left a detailed report card. We will definitely be using them again!

Dogs are welcome in our home, plus we have a large yard for playtime, as well as several sizes of crates if your dog prefers that for her quiet time. (If you have a crate for your dog, you may be requested to bring it for her stay.) DOGS LESS THAN 60 lbs ARE PREFERRED. Larger dogs may be accepted if we are comfortable caring for them. Please discuss your dog's behavior, habits, etc. as honestly as possible so we can all have a safe and enjoyable experience. A pre-stay meet and greet is recommended so we and your pet can get acquainted. We are also available to do DROP-IN visits at your home, DOGGY DAY-CARE, pet exercising, FARM-SITTING, etc. Please reach out to us with any questions or special requests!

A typical day
We do all the things we'd like our own sitter to do with our dog. As your pup's 'home away from home', we will go for walks, smell the flowers, check the mail, play with toys, have belly rubs and chin scratches, and take naps. Your dog will be happy and well cared for.

Availability
We are home each day tending our small farm in Chattaroy with a friendly older dog, 2 horses and a flock of chickens (safely away from dogs in their own pen). We love to go for walks in our quiet countryside neighborhood so your pet will have all the cuddles, potty breaks and exercise he needs while we are caring for him at our home.
