Pet care experience
I have grown up with and been around all types of animals my entire life. I believe growing up and working on a dairy farm has made me appreciate the trust and bond that can be developed with an animal if you love them, care for them, and show them respect. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a chicken, 2 rabbits and a horse. I spend most of my free time with my pets and have worked with and trained my 2 dogs when I rescued them as puppies. I often watch and care for my friends and families' pets when they are away. I have also volunteered at various Humane Societies while in college. I believe that you will not find a bigger animal lover than me!

We have an older dog that can be very temperamental, to say the least. After a couple of visits, with some issues, she agreed to watch her. We are so glad she did. During this time of year we keep our dog outside and bring her in at night. At times our dog does not want to come into the house. But she was able to get her to come into the house. She even was able to figure out our dog does not like the slick floors and put a towel down for her to walk, so she would come inside. Melissa did a great job of keeping us informed and, I had asked her to help us with a couple of things and she did a great job, 100% recommend , she is the best person we have ever had !

Trusting someone to come into your home and care for your animals is never easy… unless you get the chance to book Melissa. She sent photos and messages and went above and beyond. 10/10 totally recommend.
While we were away on vacation Melissa did a wonderful job taking care of our cat Shirley. She was reliable and timely with her communication and followed care instructions. Would definitely recommend and rebook!

I am currently teaching during the day. I can walk your dog anytime after 4:30 during the weekdays, and am free all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
