My name is Melissa. I'm 27 years old and just recently moved to this area. I had my old dog for 14 years before she passed away. In those 14 years I also took care of some of my girl scout troop's dogs when they went on vacation. I went to their houses, checked in on the dogs, walked them, fed them, and whatever else their owners needed from me. I have cared for dogs any size from Chihuahua's to labs. I adopted a Pitbull back in California, but due to our current circumstances had to leave him with my parents. I worked at a boarding facility while I lived in Okinawa, Japan for 2.5 years and cared for all kinds of dogs and cats and I currently work at another boarding facility here in Abilene. I love animals so much I'm studying to become a Zoologist.
