I love dogs more than just about anything. Growing up, I had dogs of all sizes, from a German Shepherd mix to a dachshund. Now, my 30 lb. black lab mix, Shadow, is one of my joys in life! If you are anything like me, you love your pup and want her to be as happy as possible. I would love to help you take care of your babies!

Melissa watched our two grumpy cats for a few weeks while we were abroad and they loved her! One of them is diabetic and the other is a bit of a jerk, but everyone did great! I appreciated her frequent texts with pictures and they warmed up to her quickly. Would definitely book again!
Melissa took care of my Chihuahua Sammy and my rabbit Wilder on several occasions when I lived in Arkansas, and I was always confident they would be well cared for and happy! She is also a wonderful dog mom to her black lab mix! She is very responsible and will communicate often to keep you updated. She will take wonderful care of and love your fur babies!

I’m happy to drop in and play with a pup (or cat!) or take them for a walk around the block. I can help hyper dogs get some energy out, or lazier babies get some exercise. I’m also happy to host pets in my apartment. We don’t have a fenced-in yard, but we do have plenty of green space just outside our door for frequent leashed potty breaks. We have our own dog, Shadow, who is a 10-year-old black lab mix. She loves other dogs! As long as your pup plays well with others, we should all get along great.

Please let me know your pup’s energy level! Because we don’t have a fenced-in yard, we may not be able to accommodate super high energy dogs for boarding.
A typical day
We love going for walks, playing fetch and tug, and snuggling on the couch! If your pup has any toys they love, they’re welcome to bring them for boarding—my dog is not very interested in toys and won’t try to steal them!

Availability
I work full-time, but would love to get some walks in on my lunch break or after work! I may have some availability on weekends as well. I will keep my calendar as up to date as possible. For boarding, while I am at work during weekdays, my husband is in school and will be home most afternoons to keep your pup company.
