Hi! I'm a licensed and insured graduate from the Northwest School of Canine Studies (NWSCS), to be a behavioral advocate for dogs everywhere. As a professional trainer, I am a current member of the APDT, the PPG, and am always pursuing continuing education in the dog behavior world. Being the manager of a dog & cat hotel gave me the passion to treat every dog as though they were my own. I love getting to know your pets, and caring for them like old friends. I'm returning from a Rover hiatus and am excited to get new clients on my roster! I am skilled at accommodating preferences and noting breed-specific needs. I specialize in dogs who are reactive, fearful, or can be somewhat difficult to walk. I look forward to meeting you both. :)

Melissa has become our regular dog walker for our puppy and she is so good with him. Our pup is a bundle of energy and she has been helping with his impulse control, reactivity, and leash pulling on the walks, which we really appreciate. Communication is excellent and we know our Zuko is in good hands with her!

I cannot bring pets into my home, but I am happy to accommodate whatever situation you have at your home during my walks/visits. I will take them for walks or let them play in your yard, or both. Providing what keeps your unique pup enriched, exercised, and happy is my job!

I do not have any breed, age, or size preferences! Please give me detailed information about your dog's typical walk, and if they have any training cues, quirks, reactivity, or fears I should know about. I can also accommodate training goals you have with your dog. Want them to avoid dogs and people on our walk? No problem. Prefer them to say hi to someone they know? Sure! It's my job to keep them safe and happy, and you dictate what that looks like for them.
A typical day
I will walk your dogs around your own neighborhood, on their usual walk route they take with you. I can leave Kongs, bones, treats, or busy item puzzles for your pets after their walk to keep them busy until you get home. You will receive pictures, a detailed walk/visit summary, and any other relevant information. I believe good communication is a professional requirement, and that you should feel good about your dog being in someone's care!
