Pet care experience
I've cared for friend's and family pets since childhood, I've always loved animals and I'm always happier when I have them around me. I currently have a 13 year old cat and a 3 year old terrier mix that I adore so much. Caring for an aging feline and a sweet (but anxious) little rescue pup, has taught me so much patience, as well as the importance of routine.

Mel took phenomenal care of my pup Henry! She was attentive in asking clarifying questions in advance of her stay to make sure she was prepared to meet his needs, and was helpful and communicative throughout her stay. Absolutely will be booking with her again and would recommend!!!

A typical day
I love going on walks and playtime! Does your dog / cat have a favorite toy? A favorite park nearby? Let me know all about it, so I can make sure they have the most fun and get their daily exercise! With my nervous little pup, plenty of activity is necessary so we usually go on 3-4 walks per day and we play indoors with toys if the weather keeps us in. My partner and I both work remotely, so we're lucky to be able to give lots of time and attention to our pets and to yours!

I am a freelance photographer, I create my own schedule and work the majority of time from home. This is ideal for my Rover clients because when I am hired to care for your pet, I can be fully present to care for them.
