I am a high school teacher interested in bringing joy into the lives of animals. I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a child. When friends, family, or neighbors would go on vacation, I would take care of their animals. I've always had dogs of my own, and had a wonderful experience rescuing and rehabilitating a dog who had been abused and abandoned years back. Since I moved to my current apartment, I am not able to have animals due to the building rules, but I would still love to be involved in caring for them, walking them, and playing with them.
