Hi, I've been an animal lover my entire life! I enjoy all species (perhaps a little reserved with reptiles) and have more than 20 years professional experience. My main qualifications is that I am an RVT (registered veterinary technician), licensed by the state of CA. Which means that I am the equivalent of a nurse, but for your fur babies. I've spent my life advocating for animals and have a deep passion for the field of veterinary medicine. I have worked with dogs, cats, horses, birds (especially LOVE birds)... and many other species. I am familiar with all their basic husbandry needs. I am capable of giving injections if your pet is diabetic as well as other services such as nail trims and grooming.

Melissa is awesome! This was Lexi's first time staying away from our family and it was for a week! Both Lexi and I felt confident and comfortable with Ms. Melissa and her babygirl Annie(who Lexi loved playing with). So very grateful and look forward to more time spent with Melissa and Annie❤

Love having Melissa check in on my girl! Always texts me when she’s on her way over and makes my girl feel comfortable- even when my cat is grumpy. She is SOO appreciated!
This was our first time leaving our dog overnight with anyone other than family and Melissa made it as easy as possible! She was a great communicator and made sure Sadie felt safe and comfortable at her house. Her dog Annie also helped as a terrific playmate and distraction for our Sadie. We’ll definitely rebook with Melissa and recommend her to others looking for a great boarding option for their pup.

A typical day
I cater to the needs of your pet, so each day is different. If your pet is young and very active, there will be playing and running around in the house or backyard. For those pets that are up there in their years, or high anxiety, or just prefer to lounge, I enjoy curling up on the couch with them and providing them with lots of quiet attention.

I'm currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible to accommodate client requests. My daily/weekly routine varies, depending on client and pet needs. I cater to my client's schedule as much as possible
