A dog lover from day 1, my best friends have always been my dogs. I've always had dogs in our home growing up & I continue that now with our Nikko pup. We'd have more pups, but somebody's gotta feed the kids... We treat our pets like family with love, comfort & care. We are active, heading out to the park or on a walk once a day. We like to play outside & enjoy the sunshine. We like snuggling with our pups & providing a warm, comfy place to rest. An important part of raising dogs & kids is teaching boundaries, so we make sure the kids respect the dog's space & give them room to be their puppy selves. We also teach safe play & watching the dog for their signals.

Melissa took care of my 80 lb lab for two weeks. She seemed like a caring person and I felt like she would so her best to get him the exercise he needed even though not readily available at her home because the yard was not enclosed. she went out if her way to accommodate us at the last minute and she also went out if her way to do a spontaneous 'meet & greet' which I really appreciated. My dog was in fine shape when we picked him up and I'd definitely would trust Melisa to take care if him again. Also.worth noting he was much more obedient about laying down and going to his bed when we got him home. I can only attribute that to some work Mellissa must have done with him. Thanks Melissa!
