Pet care experience
I have 2 little dogs, and they love to socialize with other pups their size and a little bigger. I have been around dogs all my life and love pups very much. Any pup that stays with me, will feel just as special as they do when they are home with their parents! Same as grandbabies do when they go to stay at their grandparents house for the night. I will help them feel like they are going to be safe in my home and yard with out any concerns. Every dog has their own way that they like to be taken care of, and I am able to adapt and see what works best for them. Some need that extra time to get to know you, and others are ready to start jumping on you as soon as they meet.

Melissa was great! She updated me everyday and was understanding of Betty’s puppy energy. Betty had a great time!
Melissa was great with Zach! Zach loved playing with dogs his size! She was flexible with our drop-off and pick-up as we were coming into town for a specific event that didn't have a specific start and end time. If we are in Indianapolis again, Zach will absolutely go visit Melissa and her pups!

All pets have different needs and adjustments, I am adaptable and can see what they need and want. I also am able to give some feedback on animal behavior while they have been in my care. Often times I do care for more than 1 or 2 dogs at a time. Most of those doggies are from different families. Please let me know if this is something that may cause a concern for you or your pup. My house is set up that I am able to keep doggies separated when needed.

A typical day
I have a doggie door that they have access to use. I don't leave it available to them at all times. When home and they are outside, I do keep all gates locked for their protection. There is a doggie park the next block over that we can go to for those that have some high energy.

I currently work away from home Monday thru Friday. I am able to go home on lunch for potty and lunch breaks for all animals.
