—Currently not offering overnight petsitting or boarding— I’ve grown up taking care of dogs and other farm animals! My love for animals made me seek out a career in petsitting and dog training. If you’re looking for an experienced individual when it comes to dogs, I’m your person! Big or small, you name it! I have a part-time job, but after work, I’m happy to follow your pet's normal routine! If your dog walks regularly, I’m happy to do so! If your dog is used to a play session or cuddles on the couch, I’m happy to keep their normal routine! I know it’s hard being away from your pets, so, I try my best to make their stay with me the most enjoyable! I am very experienced with dogs, have experience with most farm animals (goats, cows, and chickens). Also have experience when it comes to rodents and reptiles! If your dog is a dog who need regular mental stimulation and exercise, that is not a problem!

We have had Melissa watch our dogs and cat quite a number of times. We have always been extremely happy with her service. She is very responsible, and has always done the things that we ask of her. She actually goes above and beyond what we expect. She sends us pictures of our dogs playing with her outside. We think she is great, and would wholeheartedly recommend her.
I could write a book on how AMAZING Melissa was with our Golden Retriever puppy, Archie! Our boy is only six months old and this was our first time leaving him, so we were really nervous. But Melissa invited us over to meet Archie and he loved her instantly! She sent us tons of pictures and videos and gave us constant daily updates. He had a wonderful time playing with her dogs and Melissa even gave him a bath before we picked him up. 😭 So so thankful to have found her and will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much! 🤍
Melissa took great care of my dog, Roxy. She was attentive to her picky feeding needs, sent me pictures of her enjoying herself, and even took her on a doggie field trip along with walks! I would highly recommend Melissa! She’s also an amazing dog trainer, too!
Melissa did great house sitting and watching our dog. She stayed in good contact with me while we were gone for a week. She sent daily photos and videos of my dog. We appreciated that since we missed him a lot.

Any pup that stays with us (at my home) enjoys daily mental enrichment, whether that’s from training or an enrichment toy. If weather is nice we often go on fun walks, hikes, and at times visit Sniffspots. I like their stay with me to feel like a fun vacation as well! At this time I only accept small to medium sized dogs (boarding). Dogs must be ok in a crate or play pen for their safety. Dogs must also be vaccinated against bordatella, parvo, and rabies. Dogs must be dog friendly or tolerate the presence of other dogs, rotation is never an issue!

Let me know if your dog has any behavioral needs. I’m hoping to be able to provide a comfortable and safe environment even for more challenging dogs. I believe every owner should have a chance to relax, without having to worry so much about their dog.
A typical day
I have a collection of fun enrichment activities your dog can do during their stay with me. Such as snuffle mats, kongs or other stuffer toys, lick mats, and much more! For high energy dogs, a good game of flirt pole helps meet their exercise and mental needs! Walks around my calm neighborhood are always an option as well.
